Puerto Aventuras also has an interesting museum of the “CEDAM” (Water Exploration and Sports Club of Mexico), which has an exhibit of numerous objects and instruments from Colonial times which were rescued from boats sunk by the pirates who attached European ships, which is of a great interest for those who love the sea.

A few kilometers from Puerto Aventuras you can find interesting cenotes, such as a Chacmool with its tunnels, caves and caverns. This is were you will see the largest submarine stalactite in the world which is 12 meters long. Other cenotes that are very close to Puerto Aventuras are the Blue, Crystal and Hidden cenote, as well as the Kan Tun Chi, Zazi-Há and Uchil-Há cenotes. Simple wooden sings along the highway indicate their entrance.
